Read: Proverbs 4:1-271. Spend some time discussing the challenges of parenting. If you are not a parent, share some of the challenges you faced growing up. How does Solomon's instruction in Proverbs 4 encourage and help you?2. Read Proverbs 4:10-13. What are the benefits of embracing wise parental instruction? What are some practical ways that you can share these benefits (and others like them) with your children? grandchildren? Others?3. Read Proverbs 4:14-19. What are some practical ways to warn your children, grandchildren, and others about the way of the wicked? What wicked ways of thinking and living would you specifically emphasize?4. Read Proverbs 4:20-27. Highlight and discuss the 10 commands that Solomon gives to his sons in these verses. How do you/could you incorporate similar commands in your parenting and disciple-making? Why are such commands necessary?5. As noted in the message, Solomon's instruction addresses an "Anatomy of Discipleship". How do each of the body parts mentioned in this passage pose a challenge for godly living? What do thoughts, words, and actions look like when these "body parts" are utilized obediently?
